Northern Spring Peepers

#‎NatureNugget‬: Found in wooded areas and grassy lowlands near ponds and swamps across Ohio, northern spring peppers are tiny, well-camouflaged amphibians rarely seen. In fact, peepers are so small that they can sit comfortably on a dime! You can, and most likely have heard peepers’ shrill, birdlike peeps, or whistles.

Take a listen to spring peepers’ songs: http://ow.ly/ZG2GH
